1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fam Kit (“the Service”), available at famkit.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Fam Kit is operated by Victor Crispin (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

Fam Kit is a collection of free, purpose-built micro applications designed for faith-driven families. The platform includes tools organized across four pillars: Faith, Parenting, Growth, and Fun. By default, all applications run entirely in your browser and store data in local browser storage (localStorage).

3. Accounts & Cloud Sync

Certain premium features, including Cloud Sync and Family Plans, require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Cloud Sync is only activated when explicitly enabled by an adult account holder.

4. Free & Paid Tiers

All core Fam Kit apps are available free of charge with local-only data storage. Optional paid plans include:

Cloud Sync — Cross-device sync, automatic backups, and priority support
Family Plan — Cloud Sync for up to 6 family members with shared data and family dashboard access

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

Certain Fam Kit tools utilize artificial intelligence to generate content, including but not limited to lesson plans, devotional prompts, and creative exercises. All AI-generated content is provided “as-is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness. Parents and guardians are strictly responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before presenting it to children. Fam Kit does not provide professional educational, medical, psychological, or theological advice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
Use the Service to transmit harmful or malicious code
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense any part of the Service without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding associated with Fam Kit are the intellectual property of Victor Crispin, unless otherwise noted. You retain ownership of any personal data or content you create within the apps. We do not claim ownership over your data.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of Fam Kit is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Victor Crispin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. If you have a paid plan, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your billing period.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
